Your tasks
In this dynamic role as Compliance Officer, you will be involved in multiple disciplines including trade compliance, customs, sustainability, and internal communication. You will ensure adherence to international trade laws and sustainability standards, oversee internal processes, and maintain contact with authorities and internal departments.
Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, including AEO requirements and HS code classification
Coordinate and prepare internal and external audits, including customs inspections
Safeguard compliance with sustainability and ethical standards (such as ISO 14001, Ecovadis, SMETA)
Prepare and manage sustainability reports and communication with external stakeholders
Provide compliance training and stay informed on regulatory developments and industry best practices

What do you take with you?
Bachelor’s degree in International business, or a related field;
Proven in-depth knowledge and/or experience in international trade compliance;
Deep understanding of sustainability standards and practices (ISO 14001, Ecovadis, SMETA)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Fluent in Dutch and English.
