Your tasks
You are an experienced Strategic Sales Manager to lead the commercial activities across the DACH region. The role reports to the EMEA General Manager and manages a team of six sales professionals. Regular travel within the region (approximately 60–70%) is required, including visits to headquarters and participation in international sales meetings.
The Strategic Sales Manager DACH is responsible for driving business growth by acquiring new customers and developing existing relationships within the commercial livestock sector, with a key focus on swine production. You will define and execute regional sales strategies, build and manage a robust pipeline, and ensure the delivery of high-quality proposals, quotations, and aftersales service.
You will oversee the accurate and timely documentation of sales activities in Salesforce CRM, using data insights to continuously improve team performance. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining long-term partnerships with key accounts and promoting effective collaboration between sales, marketing, and cross-functional teams.

What do you take with you?
Our ideal candidate has proven experience in field sales and account management (at least five years), preferably within the pig industry or Livestock business, with knowledge of reproductive techniques. Experience in leading a sales team, working with CRM systems, and performing data analysis.
You are fluent in German and English, have relevant work experience in one of the DACH countries, and possess strong commercial skills. A flexible leadership style, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused attitude are important. The candidate is results-driven, analytical, organized, proactive, eager to learn, and thinks creatively.
You hold at least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in animal husbandry, or have a strong affinity with the agricultural sector.
You are a strong commercial talent, ambitious, and approach challenges with a winning mentality.
You have experience managing a sales team, communicate persuasively, and maintain relationships in a professional manner.
You are willing to travel internationally within the DACH region on a regular basis (60–70%) or are currently residing in, or willing to relocate.
You are proficient in German, and English, both spoken and written.

Salary range between €6,000 and €8,000 gross per month (depending on knowledge and experience).
