Teamlead packing

As a Production Team Leader, you play a crucial role in meeting the production schedule and ensuring quality and food safety. You will directly manage ten line operators and have an indirect influence on the work of approximately 90 employees. Some of your key responsibilities include:

• Achieving the production schedule within the set timeframes, quality standards, and food safety guidelines.
• Implementing operational personnel policies, including organizing training programs for employees.
• Promoting awareness of hygiene and safety on the work floor.
• Optimizing processes, initiating improvements, and working with the technical department to resolve malfunctions and carry out maintenance.
• Analyzing and reporting on performance metrics such as yield, hours worked, downtime, rejections, and other key data.
• Working closely with and reporting to the Production Manager.

We are looking for a team leader who can maintain oversight of the processes and respond quickly in unexpected situations. In addition, we ask for:

• MBO+ or HBO level of working and thinking.
• At least three years of experience in a production environment, preferably in the fresh food sector, and a minimum of one year of leadership experience.
• Willingness to work in a two-shift system: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM / 2:30 PM – 12:00 AM.
• Good command of English.
• Natural leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and inspire employees through coaching and personal attention.
• A true team player with excellent communication skills.
