My career started in 1983 with the takeover of my parents’ agricultural business, which focused on sows and poultry. As a pilot farm for a feed company, I worked on developing new feeding strategies. When it turned out that expansion at the existing location was not possible, I sold the business and chose a new path.

I wanted to continue innovating within the pig farming industry. I have a passion for combining hands-on experience with technological progress. This led to the development of software and data analysis tools, including PigExpert and BoarExpert, and the founding of AgriSyst together with my partners. My focus and passion lie in improving reproduction results through consultancy, audits, and using data to support better decision-making.

Outside of work, I enjoy the outdoors, nature, and the animals around our home. Together with my wife Ingrid, who works as a project manager, we share this passion. In my free time, I like to stay active, regularly meet up with friends, and go on motorcycle rides—both on and off-road. During the winter, I maintain all my machines and motorcycles myself. My hobbies give me energy and balance in a busy life.
