Where did it all start for you?
While studying Food Innovation at the HAS Green Academy in Venlo, I came into contact with the food industry. Here, various topics were covered in detail, from commodity knowledge/origin of food to concept and product development and from food quality to packaging. This is how my interest within this profession grew. When I graduated, it seemed like a good idea to use this knowledge and experience directly in the field. Green People Recruitment came my way, and this felt like the perfect opportunity for me to use my knowledge of the food industry and stay active in the sector.

What is your personal ambition?
I hope to help as many people as possible get their dream job in the green sector. I will do this by matching candidates' wants and needs with vacancies from our clients. Here, maintaining long-term relationships is key.

And do you still have time for hobbies?
My great passion is the beer brewery I am setting up with my father: Kloosterbrouwerij Steyl. Although this is obviously work at the end of the day, it definitely doesn't feel that way! To work with my father towards a common goal gives an enormous boost of energy. The milestones we have and can celebrate are therefore addictive and taste for more! Furthermore, I love being together with friends or family, or having a meal in the city.
